अस्मिल्लोंके सदा होते परत्र च सुखप्रदा: । चरन्ते मान्यमाना वै प्रदास्यन्ति सुखं तव,ये ब्राह्मण सदा इहलोक और परलोकमें भी सुख प्रदान करते हुए विचरते हैं। ये सम्मानित होनेपर आपको अवश्य ही सुख प्रदान करेंगे

Narada said: "In this very world and also in the world beyond, there are those who continually move about as givers of happiness. When such people are honored and treated with due respect, they will surely bestow happiness upon you as well."
नारद उवाच
Happiness and welfare arise from honoring those who are themselves sources of welfare; respect shown to the virtuous returns as benefit in both this life and the next.
Narada is instructing his listener on ethical conduct, emphasizing that people who habitually confer good upon others will, when duly honored, reciprocate with blessings and happiness.
