न सुतैर्न च वित्तेन कर्मणा न च तत्फलम्‌ | प्राप्तुयात्‌ पुरुषो&त्यन्तं गड्जां प्राप्प यदाप्रुयात्‌,मनुष्य गंगास्नान करके जिस अक्षय फलको प्राप्त करता है उसे पुत्रोंसे, धनसे तथा किसी कर्मसे भी नहीं पा सकता

na sutair na ca vittena karmaṇā na ca tatphalam | prāptuyāt puruṣo ’tyantaṃ gaṅgāṃ prāpya yad āpnuyāt ||

The Siddha said: A man cannot obtain—by sons, by wealth, or by any ritual act and its reward—that supreme, imperishable fruit which he gains upon reaching the Gaṅgā and bathing there.
