Mataṅga–Śakra Dialogue on Tapas, Status, and Moral Qualities
ते संविभक्ता मुनिभिरननुनं देवैः सवासवै: । येडभिगच्छन्ति सततं गड्जां मतिमतां वर,बुद्धिमानोंमें श्रेष्ठ ब्राह्यण! जो लोग सदा गड्जाजीकी यात्रा करते हैं, उनपर निश्चय ही इन्द्र आदि सम्पूर्ण देवता तथा मुनिलोग पृथक्-पृथक् कृपा करते आये हैं
te saṁvibhaktā munibhir anunūnaṁ devaiḥ savāsavaiḥ | ye ’bhigacchanti satataṁ gaṅgāṁ matimatāṁ vara ||
Those who constantly go to the Gaṅgā are surely the recipients of distinct and abundant favor from the sages and from the gods—together with Vāsava (Indra). The Siddha affirms that such steady pilgrimage draws divine and ascetic grace, marking the pilgrim as one who seeks purification and lives in reverence for dharma.
