वैशम्पायन उवाच कथान्ते शिरसा पादौ स्पृष्टवा भीष्मस्य पाण्डव: । धर्म्य धर्मसुतः प्रश्न॑ पर्यपृच्छद् युधिष्ठिर:,वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं--जनमेजय! बातचीतके अन्तमें भीष्मके चरणोंमें सिर रखकर धर्मपुत्र पाण्डुनन्दन युधिष्ठिरने यह धर्मानुकूल प्रश्न पूछा--
Translation
Vaishampayana said: “O Janamejaya, when the discourse had ended, Yudhishthira—the son of Pandu, the son of Dharma—bowed and touched Bhishma’s feet with his head, and then asked this question in accordance with dharma.”
