अन्तर्धानं गता: सर्वे सर्वेषामेव पश्यताम् । तदनन्तर वे महर्षिगण भीष्मजी और पाण्डवोंकी अनुमति लेकर सबके देखते-देखते ही वहाँसे अदृश्य हो गये
antardhānaṃ gatāḥ sarve sarveṣām eva paśyatām | tadanantaraṃ vai maharṣigaṇā bhīṣmajī-pāṇḍavayoḥ anumatiṃ gṛhītvā sarveṣāṃ paśyatāṃ paśyatāṃ tatraiva adṛśyā abhavan ||
Vaiśampāyana said: All of them vanished from sight while everyone was watching. Thereafter, the assembled great sages—having taken leave with the permission of Bhīṣma and the Pāṇḍavas—disappeared then and there before the eyes of all. The scene underscores the reverence due to realized seers and the disciplined etiquette of departure: even those endowed with extraordinary powers act within the bounds of consent and propriety.
