अभ्यर्च्य देवतास्तत्र नमस्कृत्य मुनींस्तथा । ततः सिद्धो दिवं गच्छेद् ब्रह्मलोक॑ सनातनम्,जो वेदान्तका ज्ञाता द्विज इस जीवनको नाशवान् समझकर उस पर्वतपर रहता और देवताओंका पूजन तथा मुनियोंको प्रणाम करके विधिपूर्वक अनशनके द्वारा अपने प्राणोंको त्याग देता है वह सिद्ध होकर सनातन ब्रह्मलोकको प्राप्त हो जाता है
abhyarcya devatās tatra namaskṛtya munīṁs tathā | tataḥ siddho divaṁ gacched brahmalokaṁ sanātanam || yo vedāntakā jñātā dvijaḥ
Having worshipped the deities there and likewise bowed to the sages, he then—perfected through such disciplined practice—goes to heaven and attains the eternal world of Brahman, Brahmaloka.
अजड्रिय उवाच
The verse teaches that disciplined renunciation—grounded in reverence (worship of deities and homage to sages) and insight into the perishability of embodied life—leads to spiritual perfection and the attainment of the eternal Brahma-world, especially for one established in Vedāntic understanding.
A speaker describes the conduct and fruit of an ascetic path: after honoring gods and sages at a sacred place, the practitioner undertakes strict austerity and relinquishes life through a prescribed fast, becoming ‘siddha’ and reaching heaven and ultimately Brahmaloka.
