Shloka 34

अहिंसयित्वा ब्रह्महत्याविधानम् / Brahmahatyā incurred without physical violence

अमानिन: सर्वसहा दृढार्था विजितेन्द्रिया: । सर्वभूतहिता मैत्रास्ते भ्यो दत्त महाफलम्‌

amāninaḥ sarvasahā dṛḍhārthā vijitendriyāḥ | sarvabhūtahitā maitrās tebhyo dattaṃ mahāphalam ||

Bhīṣma said: Those who are free from self-importance, who endure every hardship, who are firm in purpose, who have conquered their senses, and who are friendly and devoted to the welfare of all beings—gifts given to such people are granted great fruit.
