The verse highlights dharmic attentiveness to a guest: recognizing the time of day (sandhyā) and asking what offering or service is appropriate, reflecting disciplined hospitality and timely duty.
As evening approaches and the sun reddens with twilight clouds, the woman addresses the revered person and asks what should be brought for him—signaling a shift from daytime reflection to evening service/ritual-appropriate care.
