vāyudeva uvāca | kapilaḥ kapiśaḥ śukla āyubhaś caiva parodaparaḥ | gandharvo hāditis tākṣyaḥ suvijñeyaḥ suśāradaḥ ||
Vāyudeva said: “He may be understood in many forms and aspects—kapila (tawny), kapiśa (yellowish-brown), śukla (white), as life itself (āyuḥ), as the ancient and the later (para and apara), as a Gandharva, as Aditi, and as Tākṣya (Garuḍa). He is to be known clearly and with ease, and is possessed of refined, discerning speech.”
