मुख्यो<मुख्यश्न देहश्व॒ काहलि: सर्वकामद: । सर्वकालप्रसादश्न॒ सुबलो बलरूपधृक्,२९४ मुख्य:--सर्वश्रेष्ठ २९५ अमुख्य:--जिससे बढ़कर मुख्य दूसरा कोई न हो वह, २९६ देह:--देहस्वरूप, २९७ काहलि:--काहल नामक वाद्यविशेषको बजानेवाले, २९८ सर्वकामद:--सम्पूर्ण कामनाओंके दाता, २९९ सर्वकालप्रसाद:--सर्वदा कृपा करनेवाले, ३०० सुबल:--उत्तम बलसे सम्पन्न, ३०१ बलरूपधृकू--बल और रूपके आधार, ३०२ सर्वकामवर:--सम्पूर्ण कमनीय पदार्थोंमें श्रेष्ठ--मोक्षस्वरूप, ३०३ सर्वद:--सब कुछ देनेवाले, ३०४ सर्वतोमुख:--सब ओर मुखवाले, ३०५ आकाशनिर्विरूप:--आकाशकी भाँति जिनसे नाना प्रकारके रूप प्रकट होते हैं वे, ३०६ निपाती--पापियोंको नरकमें गिरानेवाले, ३०७ अवश:--जिनके ऊपर किसीका वश नहीं चलता वे, ३०८ खग:-- आकाशगामी
mukhyo ’mukhyaś ca dehaś ca kāhaliḥ sarvakāmadāḥ | sarvakālaprasādaś ca subalo balarūpadhṛk ||
Vāyu-deva said: “He is the foremost, and also the one beyond whom there is no higher; he is embodied being itself. He is the Kāhali (the one associated with the kāhali instrument), the giver of all desired ends. Ever gracious at all times, he is supremely strong, the very support and manifestation of strength and form.”
वायुदेव उवाच
