Anuśāsana-parva 17

विष्वक्सेनो हरिर्यज्ञ: संयुगापीडवाहन: । तीक्ष्णतापश्न हर्यश्वः सहाय: कर्मकालवित्‌,२०७ विष्वक्सेन:--दैत्योंकी सेनाकों सब ओर भगा देनेवाले, २०८ हरि:-- आपत्तियोंको हर लेनेवाले, २०९ यज्ञ:--यज्ञ़रूप, २१० संयुगापीडवाहन:--युद्धमें पीड़ारहित वाहनवाले, २११ तीक्ष्णताप:--दुःसह तापरूप सूर्य, २१२ हर्यश्वः--हरे रंगके घोड़ोंसे युक्त, २१३ सहाय:--जीवमात्रके सखा, २१४ कर्मकालवित्‌--कर्मोंके कालको ठीक-ठीक जाननेवाले

viṣvakseno harir yajñaḥ saṁyugāpīḍavāhanaḥ | tīkṣṇatāpo haryaśvaḥ sahāyaḥ karmakālavit ||

Vāyu-deva said: “He is Viṣvaksena, who routs the hosts of demons on every side; Hari, who removes afflictions; Yajña, the very embodiment of sacrifice; the One whose vehicle is untroubled even amid the crush of battle; the Fierce-Heat, like the unbearable sun; Haryaśva, attended by green-hued steeds; the Friend and ally of all living beings; and the Knower of the proper times for actions.”
