घोरो महातपा: पाशो नित्यो गिरिरुहो नभ: । सहस््रहस्तो विजयो व्यवसायो ह्ातन्द्रित:,१७४ घोर:--भयंकर रूपधारी, १७५ महातपा:--महान् तप करनेवाले, १७६ पाश: --अपनी मायारूपी पाशसे बाँधनेवाले, १७७ नित्य:--विनाशरहित, १७८ गिरिरुह:-- पर्वतपर आरूढ़--कैलाशवासी, १७९ नभः--आकाशके समान असड़, १८० सहस्र- हस्त:--हजारों हाथोंवाले, १८१ विजय:--विजेता, १८२ व्यवसाय:--दृढ़निश्चयी, १८३ अतन्द्रित:--आलस्यरहित
ghoro mahātapāḥ pāśo nityo giriruhō nabhaḥ | sahasrahasto vijayo vyavasāyo ’tandritaḥ ||
Vāyu-deva said: “He is terrible in aspect and of great austerity; he binds beings with the noose of his power. He is eternal, mountain-dwelling, and vast like the sky. With a thousand hands he is victorious—firm in resolve and free from indolence.”
