आरोहणो<5घिरोहश्न शीलधारी महायशा: । सेनाकल्पो महाकल्पो योगो युगकरो हरि:,७७९ आरोहण:--परम पदपर आखरूढ़ होनेके द्वारस्वरूप, ७८० अधिरोह:--परम पदपर आरूढ़, ७८१ शीलधारी--सुशीलसम्पन्न, ७८२ महायशा:--महान् यशसे सम्पन्न, ७८३ सेनाकल्प:--सेनाके आभूषणरूप, ७८४ महाकल्प:--बहुमूल्य अलंकारोंसे अलंकृत, ७८५ योग:ः--चित्तवृत्तियोंके निरोधस्वरूप, ७८६ युगकर:--युगप्रवर्तक, ७८७ हरि:--भक्तोंका दुःख हर लेनेवाले
ārohaṇo ’dhirōhaś ca śīladhārī mahāyaśāḥ | senākalpo mahākalpo yogo yugakaro hariḥ ||
Vāyu-deva said: “He is the Ascent—the very gateway by which one rises to the supreme state; and He is the One who has already ascended to that highest station. Endowed with noble conduct and great renown, He stands as the ornament and organizing power of an army, splendidly arrayed like a priceless adornment. He is Yoga itself—the stilling of the mind’s movements; He is the maker of the ages, who sets the cycles in motion; and He is Hari, the remover of the devotees’ sorrow.”
