त्रिषु लोकेषु तावच्च वैशिष्ट्यं प्रतिपत्स्यसे । सुप्रिय: सर्वलोकस्य भविष्यसि जनार्दन
triṣu lokeṣu tāvac ca vaiśiṣṭyaṃ pratipatsyase | supriyaḥ sarvalokasya bhaviṣyasi janārdana ||
Vāyu said: “So long as your meritorious fame endures in the three worlds, you will attain pre-eminence there. O Janārdana, you will become exceedingly dear to all beings.”
वायुदेव उवाच
Enduring renown grounded in merit (puṇya) leads to lasting distinction and universal goodwill; ethical excellence is portrayed as the basis of true pre-eminence across the ‘three worlds’.
Vāyudeva addresses Janārdana (Kṛṣṇa), offering a benediction/praise: as long as his virtuous fame remains in the three worlds, he will be foremost and beloved by all.
