Vāyu said: Those learned in the Ṛgveda (the Bahvṛcas) instruct and praise Him through Ṛg hymns, in the true principles of rite and action. The twice-born knowers of the Yajurveda offer oblations to Him in sacrifice with Yajus-formulas, recognizing Him as the three sacred fires—Dakṣiṇāgni, Gārhapatya, and Āhavanīya. The pure-minded singers of the Sāmaveda chant His praise with Sāman melodies. The Atharvavedic Brahmins extol Him through the paths of Ṛta (cosmic order), Satya (truth), and the way that leads to the Supreme Brahman. Since He is the highest cause of sacrifice, He is acknowledged as the supreme Lord and master of all sacrifices.
वायुदेव उवाच
All Vedic paths—hymn (Ṛg), formula (Yajus), chant (Sāman), and Atharvan praise grounded in Ṛta and Satya—converge on one supreme divine reality identified here with Mahādeva/Parameśvara, who is presented as the ultimate cause and lord of every sacrifice.
Vāyu is describing how different Vedic specialists worship and praise the same supreme deity through their respective liturgical modes, emphasizing the unity of sacrificial worship and establishing Mahādeva as the presiding lord of all yajñas.
