Educational Q&A

As a colophon, the line chiefly marks completion, but it also frames the preceding instruction as dharma-oriented: the Sāvitrī mantra is presented as spiritually efficacious, and its practice is situated within dāna-dharma—ethical living and merit through disciplined, sacred acts.

The text is closing a chapter: it announces that the 150th chapter—on the glory of the Sāvitrī mantra—has concluded within the Dāna-dharma section of the Anuśāsana Parva of the Mahābhārata.
