From him ten sons will be born, foremost among them the Pracetas. From those Pracetas, in this very world, Dakṣa will arise again as a Prajāpati (lord of creatures), continuing the ordained line of creation and responsibility.
ईश्वर उवाच
The verse emphasizes continuity of cosmic and social order through rightful lineage: progenitors (Prajāpatis) arise according to an ordained sequence, underscoring responsibility in creation, governance, and sustaining dharma.
Īśvara foretells a genealogical development: ten sons known as the Pracetas will be born, and from them Dakṣa will manifest as a Prajāpati, indicating the re-emergence of a key progenitor figure in the cycle of creation.
