Having dwelt there for a long time, he enjoys unsurpassed heavenly pleasures; delighted, he sports joyfully in Nandana and other celestial groves in the company of apsarases.
श्रीमहेश्वर उवाच
The verse presents heavenly enjoyment as the fruit of accumulated merit: long residence in celestial realms, companionship of apsarases, and delight in divine groves. Ethically, it implies that righteous action yields pleasant results, while also hinting that such rewards are still transient compared to ultimate liberation.
Śrīmaheśvara describes the posthumous state of a meritorious person: after reaching a heavenly realm, he remains there for a long time, enjoys excellent pleasures, and happily sports in Nandana and other celestial forests with apsarases.
