कल्मषापहर-कीर्तनम् / Kīrtana for the Removal of Impurity

गुरु चाभिगतं प्रेम्णा गुरुवन्न बुभूषते । अभिमानप्रवृत्तेन लोभेन समवस्थिता:,गुरुके आनेपर प्रेमपूर्वक उनकी पूजा नहीं करते--उन्हें गुरुवत् सम्मान नहीं देना चाहते, अभिमान और लोभके वशीभूत होकर वे सम्माननीय मनुष्योंका अपमान और बड़े- बूढ़ोंका तिरस्कार करते हैं। देवि! ऐसा करनेवाले सभी मनुष्य नरकगामी होते हैं
Transliteration
guruṁ cābhigataṁ premṇā guruvan na bubhūṣate | abhimāna-pravṛttena lobhena samavasthitāḥ |
Translation
Even when a teacher comes to them, they do not honor him with loving regard—they do not wish to revere him as a guru. Ruled by pride and greed, they insult those worthy of reverence and scorn the elders. O Devi, all who act thus are destined for hell.
