उत्तमं लभते स्थानमप्सरोगणसेवितम्
uttamaṃ labhate sthānam apsarogaṇasevitam
Bhishma declares that such a person attains an excellent, exalted realm—one graced and frequented by hosts of apsarases.
भीष्म उवाच
That righteous or meritorious conduct culminates in an elevated posthumous state—an ‘excellent realm’—presented as a concrete moral consequence (phala) of living in accordance with dharma.
Bhishma, in his instructional discourse, states the result of a praised practice or virtue: the person attains a superior heavenly station, described poetically as a realm frequented by apsarases.
