रुद्राणां तमधीवासं दिवि दिव्यं मनोहरम् । वह अपने पास ब्रह्माजीका भेजा हुआ विमान स्वतः उपस्थित देखता है। सुवर्णके समान रंगवाली रूपवती कुमारियाँ उसे उस विमानद्वारा झुलोकमें दिव्य मनोहर रुद्रलोकमें ले जाती हैं
rudrāṇāṃ tam adhīvāsaṃ divi divyaṃ manoharam |
Bhishma said: He beheld, appearing of itself at his side, the celestial aerial car sent by Brahmā. Golden-hued, beautiful maidens then bore him in that vimāna to the radiant world of Rudra in heaven—divine and enchanting—signifying the fruit of merit and the honoring of a worthy soul by the gods.
भीष्म उवाच
The passage underscores that righteous conduct and divine favor culminate in honor and upliftment: the worthy are escorted to higher realms, illustrating the Mahābhārata’s ethic that dharma and devotion bear transcendent results.
A celestial vimāna sent by Brahmā appears, and radiant maidens escort the person in it to Rudra’s delightful heavenly abode (Rudra-loka), describing a divinely sanctioned ascent to a higher world.
