धिड़मृत्युं च दुरात्मानं क्रूरं दु:खकरं सताम्‌ | त्वां चैवाहं वधिष्यामि पापं पापस्य कारणम्‌,श्रेष्ठ पुरुषोंको दुःख देनेवाले इस क्रूर एवं दुरात्मा मृत्युको धिक्‍्कार है और तू तो इस पापका कारण है ही; इसलिये तुझ पापात्माका वध मैं अवश्य करूँगा

dhiṅ mṛtyuṁ ca durātmānaṁ krūraṁ duḥkhakaraṁ satām | tvāṁ caivāhaṁ vadhiṣyāmi pāpaṁ pāpasya kāraṇam ||

“Shame upon Death—cruel, wicked-souled, and a bringer of sorrow to the noble. And you too are the very cause of this sin; therefore I will surely kill you, O sinful one.”
