ययाति–देवयानी संवादः

Yayāti–Devayānī Dialogue and Śukra’s Consent

न निवर्तेत्‌ पुनर्जीवन्‌ कश्चिदन्यो ममोदरात्‌ । ब्राह्मणं वर्जयित्वैंकं तस्माद्‌ विद्यामवाप्रुहि,केवल एक ब्राह्णको छोड़कर दूसरा कोई ऐसा नहीं है, जो मेरे पेटसे पुनः जीवित निकल सके। इसलिये तुम विद्या ग्रहण करो

na nivartet punarjīvan kaścid anyo mamodarāt | brāhmaṇaṁ varjayitvaikaṁ tasmād vidyām avāpruhi ||

Śukra said: “No one else can come out of my belly alive again—except a single brāhmaṇa. Therefore, seek and obtain true knowledge.”
