वंशानुकीर्तनम् — Genealogical Recitation from Dakṣa to Yayāti and the Establishment of the Paurava Line

त॑ चाप्रतिरथ: श्रीमानाश्रमं प्रत्यपद्यत । देवलोकप्रतीकाशं सर्वतः सुमनोहरम्‌,श्रीमान्‌ दुष्यन्त नरेश अप्रतिरथ वीर थे--उस समय उनकी समानता करनेवाला भूमण्डलमें दूसरा कोई रथी योद्धा नहीं था। वे उक्त आश्रमके समीप जा पहुँचे, जो देवताओंके लोक-सा प्रतीत होता था। वह आश्रम सब ओरसे अत्यन्त मनोहर था

taṁ cāpratirathaḥ śrīmān āśramaṁ pratyapadyata | devalokapratīkāśaṁ sarvataḥ sumanoharam ||

Vaiśampāyana said: “That illustrious hero, Apratiratha, approached the hermitage—radiant like the world of the gods and delightful to behold on every side. The hermitage was exceedingly beautiful all around.”
