तमुत्सूष्टं जले गर्भ राधाभर्ता महायशा: । राधाया: कल्पयामास पुत्रं सोडधिरथस्तदा,जलमें छोड़े हुए उस बालकको राधाके पति महायशस्वी अधिरथ सूतने लेकर राधाकी गोदमें दे दिया और उसे राधाका पुत्र बना लिया
Transliteration
tam utsṛṣṭaṃ jale garbhaṃ rādhābhartā mahāyaśāḥ | rādhāyāḥ kalpayāmāsa putraṃ so 'dhirathas tadā ||
Translation
Vaiśaṃpāyana said: Seeing the infant cast away upon the waters, the illustrious charioteer Adhiratha, husband of Rādhā, took him up and formally accepted him as Rādhā’s son.
