चक्रतुर्नामधेयं च तस्य बालस्य तावुभौ । दम्पती वसुषेणेति दिक्षु सर्वासु विश्वुतम्‌,उन दोनों दम्पतिने उस बालकका नाम वसुषेण रखा। वह सम्पूर्ण दिशाओंमें भलीभाँति विख्यात था

cakratur nāmadheyaṃ ca tasya bālasya tāv ubhau | dampatī vasuṣeṇeti dikṣu sarvāsu viśrutam ||

Vaiśaṃpāyana said: The two of them, husband and wife, bestowed a name upon the child—Vasuṣeṇa. Thus he became well known in all directions.
