At the close of the day, the mighty-armed hero will again meet with me. He will beget a single valiant son who will continue the lineage—one who will restore and carry forward the family line after its devastation.

Educational Q&A

Even when destruction is foretold, the text frames the continuation of a righteous lineage as a stabilizing dharmic necessity—suggesting that providence preserves a seed of renewal amid catastrophe.

A prophecy-like statement says that by day’s end the mighty-armed hero will rejoin the speaker, and that he will beget a single heroic son who will carry forward the family line after widespread loss.
