एवं कृतयुगे सम्यग् वर्तमाने तदा नूप । आपूर्यत मही कृत्स्ना प्राणिभिर्बहुभिर्भूशम्,नरेश्वर! इस तरह उस समय सब ओर सत्ययुग छा रहा था। सारी पृथ्वी नाना प्रकारके प्राणियोंसे खूब भरी-पूरी रहती थी
Transliteration
evaṁ kṛtayuge samyag vartamāne tadā nūpa | āpūryata mahī kṛtsnā prāṇibhir bahubhir bhūśam, nareśvara ||
Translation
Vaiśampāyana said: “At that time, O king, when the Kṛta Yuga was prevailing in its full measure, the whole earth was abundantly filled—thronged everywhere—with many kinds of living beings.”
