युध्यमानस्य संग्रामे देवैः सार्थ महाबल । ऋचो यजूंषि सामानि पवित्राणि हवींषि च,“महाबली पक्षिराज! संग्राममें देवताओंके साथ युद्ध करते समय ऋग्वेद, यजुर्वेद, सामवेद, पवित्र हविष्य, सम्पूर्ण रहस्य तथा सभी वेद तुम्हें बल प्रदान करें।” पिताके ऐसा कहनेपर गरुड उस सरोवरके निकट गये
Translation
As you fight upon the battlefield alongside the gods, O mighty one, may the Ṛgveda, the Yajurveda, the Sāmaveda, the pure havis-offerings, and all sacred mysteries grant you strength. When his father had spoken thus, Garuḍa went near that lake.
