Garuḍa said: “I shall remain seated here, ever devoted to rites that bring peace and well-being. O noble one, proceed on your path, my child, so that your intended purpose may be fulfilled.”
गरुड उवाच
The verse emphasizes supportive dharma: one person undertakes auspicious, welfare-oriented observances (svastikāra) while another proceeds to fulfill a necessary duty, highlighting the ethical ideal of blessing and enabling righteous action rather than obstructing it.
Garuḍa speaks words of encouragement and benediction, stating that he will remain engaged in auspicious rites while addressing the other as ‘noble one’ and ‘child,’ urging them to continue their journey so their intended mission may succeed.
