ततोडन्‍्तरिक्षाद्‌ भगवानवतीर्य पुरंदर: । मरुद्गणैर्वृतः पार्थ केशवं चेदमब्रवीत्‌,उसी समय भगवान्‌ इन्द्र मरुदगणों एवं अन्य देवताओंके साथ आकाशसे उतरे और अर्जुन तथा श्रीकृष्णसे इस प्रकार बोले--

Transliteration

tato 'ntarikṣād bhagavān avatīrya purandaraḥ | marudgaṇair vṛtaḥ pārtha keśavaṃ cedam abravīt |

Translation

Then the Blessed Purandara (Indra) descended from the mid-air, surrounded by the hosts of Maruts. Addressing Pārtha (Arjuna) and Keśava (Kṛṣṇa), he spoke these words—
