संछिद्यमानमिषुभिरस्यता सव्यसाचिना । सव्यसाची अर्जुनके बाण चलाते समय उनके बाणोंसे कट जानेके कारण कोई भी जीव वहाँसे बाहर न निकल सका

Vaiśampāyana said: As the Savyasācin (Arjuna) kept shooting, his arrows cut down whatever tried to pass through; thus no living being could escape from that place.
वैशम्पायन उवाच

Vaiśampāyana describes Arjuna (Savyasācin) continuously shooting arrows that sever anything attempting to move out from the location, so that no creature could get past or escape.
