स च नाम रथस्तादृड्मदीयास्ते च वाजिन:,न्यवर्तयत संहृष्टा ममैषा परमा मति: । “इस समय अर्जुनके पास मेरा सुप्रसिद्ध रथ है, मेरे ही अद्भुत घोड़े हैं और स्वयं अर्जुन शीघ्रता-पूर्वक अस्त्र-शस्त्र चलानेवाले योद्धा हैं। ऐसी दशामें अर्जुनकी समानता कौन कर सकता है? आपलोग प्रसन्नताके साथ दौड़े जाइये और बड़ी सान्त्वनासे धनंजयको लौटा लाइये। मेरी तो यही परम सम्मति है
sa ca nāma rathas tādṛg madīyās te ca vājinaḥ, nyavartayata saṁhṛṣṭā mamaiṣā paramā matiḥ |
Vaiśaṃpāyana said: “That renowned chariot is indeed mine, and those splendid horses are mine as well. Therefore, turn back with glad hearts. This is my firm and highest judgment.”
