Śārṅgakānāṃ Avināśaḥ (Why the Śārṅga Birds Were Spared) | शार्ङ्गकानामविनाशः
वनन््दे द्रौपदी भद्रा प्रेष्याहमिति चाब्रवीत् । और उसने बड़ी प्रसन्नताके साथ उस अनुपम वधूको अनेक आशीर्वाद दिये। तदनन्तर पूर्ण चन्द्रमाके सदूश मनोहर मुखवाली सुभद्राने तुरंत जाकर महारानी द्रौपदीके चरण छूए और कहा--'देवि! मैं आपकी दासी हूँ”
vande draupadī bhadrā preṣyāham iti cābravīt | tataḥ sā bahu-prasannā tām anupamāṁ vadhūṁ nānāśīrbhir abhinandya | tadanantaraṁ pūrṇa-candra-sadṛśa-mano-hara-mukhī subhadrā tvaritaṁ gatvā mahārājñyā draupadyāḥ caraṇau spṛṣṭvā uvāca—“devi, ahaṁ tava dāsī” |
Vaiśampāyana said: “(Subhadrā) bowed to Draupadī and declared, ‘I am your attendant.’ Then, with great joy, she offered many blessings to that incomparable bride. Thereafter Subhadrā—whose face was charming like the full moon—went at once, touched Queen Draupadī’s feet, and said, ‘Goddess, I am your servant.’”
