श्रुत्वैव च महाबाहुर्मा भैरित्याह त॑ द्विजम् । वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं--जनमेजय! वह ब्राह्मण निकट आकर बहुत रो रहा था। पाण्डुपुत्र कुन्तीनन्दन धनंजयने उसकी कही हुई सारी बातें सुनीं और सुनकर उन महाबाहुने उस ब्राह्मणसे कहा--'डरो मत”
śrutvaiva ca mahābāhur mā bhair ity āha taṁ dvijam |
Vaiśampāyana said: As soon as he had heard him, the mighty-armed hero addressed that brāhmaṇa, saying, “Do not be afraid.”
