नदीतीरेषु जातान्‌ सा कर्णिकारान्‌ प्रचिन्वती । शनैर्जगाम तं॑ देशं यत्रास्तां तौ महासुरौ,नदीके किनारे उगे हुए कनेरके फूलोंका संग्रह करती हुई वह धीरे-धीरे उसी स्थानकी ओर गयी, जहाँ वे दोनों महादैत्य बैठे थे

nadītīreṣu jātān sā karṇikārān pracinvatī | śanair jagāma taṃ deśaṃ yatrāstāṃ tau mahāsurau ||

Gathering the karṇikāra blossoms that had grown along the riverbank, she moved on slowly toward the very place where those two mighty asuras were seated.
