दाहो जतुगृहस्यात्र हैडिम्बं पर्व चोच्यते । ततो बकवध: पर्व पर्व चैत्ररथं तत:,इसके पश्चात्‌ जतुगृह (लाक्षाभवन) दाहपर्व है। तदनन्तर हिडिम्बवधपर्व है, फिर बकवध और उसके बाद चैत्ररथपर्व है

Transliteration

dāho jatugṛhasyātra haiḍimbaṃ parva cocyate | tato bakavadhaḥ parva parva caitrarathaṃ tataḥ ||

Translation

Here is described the burning of the lac-house (Jatugṛha). After that comes the episode called the Haiḍimba Parva; then the slaying of Baka; and thereafter the Caitraratha Parva.
