समन्तपञ्चक-आख्यानम् तथा अक्षौहिणी-प्रमाणनिर्णयः
Samantapañcaka Narrative and the Measure of an Akṣauhiṇī
गृहीत्वा हरणं प्राप्ते कृष्णे देवकिनन्दने । अभिमन्यो: सुभद्रायां जन्म चोत्तमतेजस:,तदनन्तर देवकीनन्दन भगवान् श्रीकृष्णके दहेज लेकर पाण्डवोंके पास पहुँचनेकी और सुभद्राके गर्भसे परम तेजस्वी वीर बालक अभिमन्युके जन्मकी कथा है
gṛhītvā haraṇaṃ prāpte kṛṣṇe devakīnandane | abhimanyoḥ subhadrāyāṃ janma cottamatejasaḥ |
After taking the bridal wealth (dowry) and arriving among the Pāṇḍavas, Kṛṣṇa—the blessed son of Devakī—becomes the occasion for the next event: from Subhadrā’s womb is born the supremely radiant hero Abhimanyu. The narrative highlights the continuity of family duty and alliance-building, where rightful marriage and kinship bonds become the ground from which future protectors of dharma arise.
