Even amid political strain, dharmic governance prefers dialogue and wise counsel over rash action. The choice of Vidura—renowned for integrity—highlights that an envoy should embody truthfulness and moral clarity, while the mention of Keśava’s audience signals the stabilizing role of divine-aligned guidance.
Dhṛtarāṣṭra sends Vidura on a mission to the Pāṇḍavas. Vidura reaches them and meets them, and the Pāṇḍavas also obtain a meeting (darśana) with Keśava (Kṛṣṇa), marking a significant moment of counsel, alliance, and attempted conciliation.
