द्रौपदी-वरण-प्रत्ययः — Intelligence Reports and the Kaurava Court’s Response

सुप्तास्तु ते पार्थिव सर्व एव कृष्णा च तेषां चरणोपधाने । आसीत्‌ पृथिव्यां शयनं च तेषां दर्भाजिनाग्रास्तरणोपपन्नम्‌,राजन्‌! भोजनके बाद वे सब सो गये। कृष्णा उनके पैरोंके समीप सोयी। धरतीपर ही उनकी शय्या बिछी थी। नीचे कुशकी चटाइयाँ थीं और ऊपर मृगचर्म बिछा हुआ था

Translation

O king, after the meal they all fell asleep. Kṛṣṇā lay down near their feet. Their bed was spread upon the bare earth, with mats of darbha grass beneath and animal skins laid over them.
