विश्वामित्र उवाच क्षत्रियो5हं भवान्‌ विप्रस्तपस्स्वाध्यायसाधन:,विश्वामित्रजी बोले--मैं क्षत्रिय राजा हूँ और आप तपस्या तथा स्वाध्यायका साधन करनेवाले ब्राह्मण हैं

Viśvāmitra uvāca: kṣatriyo 'haṃ bhavān vipras tapaḥsvādhyāya-sādhanaḥ.

Viśvāmitra said: “I am a kṣatriya, a ruler by station; you are a brāhmaṇa, one devoted to austerity and sacred study (svādhyāya).”
