ततः प्रत्यागतप्राणस्तद्‌ बल॑ बलवान्‌ नृपः । सर्व विसर्जयामास तमेकं॑ सचिवं विना,उससे राजाको चेत हो आया। बलवान नरेशने एकमात्र अपने मन्त्रीके सिवा सारी सेनाको लौटा दिया

tataḥ pratyāgataprāṇas tad balaṁ balavān nṛpaḥ | sarvaṁ visarjayāmāsa tam ekaṁ sacivaṁ vinā ||

Then the king, his life-breath and composure restored, dismissed that entire force. Though powerful, he sent everyone back—keeping only a single minister with him—hinting at a deliberate turn from public display of might to restrained action guided by counsel.
