Educational Q&A

Even amid warfare, dharma includes measured action and care for one’s companions: Arjuna combines resolve to complete the necessary task with concern for Bhīma’s exhaustion, urging rest rather than needless overstrain.

Arjuna addresses Bhīma (Vṛkodara), noting that Bhīma has fought hard and is fatigued. Arjuna proposes that he himself will take over and kill the opponent, while Bhīma should pause and rest for a time.
