वैशम्पायन उवाच
Dharma is fulfilled through rightly ordered responsibilities: safeguarding dependents (Kuntī) and confronting danger (the rākṣasa) are both duties, and ethical force is justified here as protective action rather than aggression.
A speaker declares readiness to assist Pārtha (Arjuna) in killing a threatening rākṣasa, while assigning Nakula and Sahadeva the task of guarding their mother Kuntī, indicating a coordinated response to imminent peril.
