Vaiśampāyana said: “You are our well-wishers. Having honored us by the customary rightward circumambulation and having expressed your approval, now depart with blessings and return to your respective homes.”
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights dhārmic social conduct: respect is shown through proper ritual gestures (pradakṣiṇā), goodwill is affirmed through courteous approval, and departures are sealed with blessings—maintaining harmony and gratitude in relationships.
A group addressed as well-wishers has completed a respectful, customary act (circumambulation) and offered their assent; the speaker instructs them to depart with blessings and return to their homes.
