Hiḍimba’s Approach and Hiḍimbā’s Warning to Bhīmasena (हिडिम्बागमनम् / हिडिम्बा-भयवचनम्)

अथाजगाम पूर्व तु स्नात्वा व्याप्रो महाबल: । ददर्श जम्बुकं॑ चैव चिन्ताकुलितमानसम्‌,इतनेमें ही महाबली बाघ स्नान करके सबसे पहले वहाँ लौट आया। आनेपर उसने देखा, गीदड़का चित्त चिन्तासे व्याकुल हो रहा है

athājagāma pūrva tu snātvā vyāghro mahābalaḥ | dadarśa jambukaṃ caiva cintākulita-mānasam ||

Just then, the mighty tiger returned first after bathing. On arriving, he saw the jackal as well—his mind agitated and overwhelmed by anxious thoughts.
