भीमस्य जलान्वेषणं तथा वनविश्रान्तिः
Bhīma’s Search for Water and the Forest Halt
आश्रमे क्रीडितं यत् तु त्वया बाल्ये मया सह । तेन संवर्द्धित: स्नेह: प्रीतिश्न क्षत्रियर्षभ,'क्षत्रियशिरोमणे! तुम बचपनमें मेरे साथ आश्रममें जो खेले-कूदे हो, उससे तुम्हारे ऊपर मेरा स्नेह एवं प्रेम बहुत बढ़ गया है
āśrame krīḍitaṃ yat tu tvayā bālye mayā saha | tena saṃvarddhitaḥ snehaḥ prītiś ca kṣatriyarṣabha ||
“Because you played with me in the hermitage during your childhood, my affection and fond regard for you have grown greatly, O bull among kṣatriyas.”
वैशमग्पायन उवाच
Shared upbringing and lived experience create enduring bonds; affection (sneha) and fond regard (prīti) are shown as ethically significant forces that shape loyalty and responsibility in later life.
