वैशम्पायन उवाच
Single-pointed attention (ekāgratā) and disciplined obedience to the teacher: Arjuna trains his mind to exclude irrelevant perceptions and attend only to the intended aim, showing that mastery rests on self-control and clarity of purpose.
During Droṇa’s training test, Arjuna is asked what he sees while aiming. He answers that he sees only the bird (bhāsa) and not the tree or even Droṇa, demonstrating exceptional concentration compared to others.
