अजुन उवाच तदाहं परिरभ्यैक: प्रीतिपूर्वमिदं वच: । भवतोक्तो न मे शिष्यस्त्वद्धिशिष्टो भविष्यति,अर्जुनने कहा--आचार्य! उस दिन तो आपने मुझ अकेलेको हृदयसे लगाकर बड़ी प्रसन्नताके साथ यह बात कही थी कि मेरा कोई भी शिष्य तुमसे बढ़कर नहीं होगा
arjuna uvāca—tadāhaṁ parirabhyaikaḥ prītipūrvam idaṁ vacaḥ | bhavatokto na me śiṣyas tvad dhiśiṣṭo bhaviṣyati ||
Arjuna said: “On that day you embraced me alone and, with heartfelt joy, spoke these words: ‘No disciple of mine will ever surpass you.’”
