वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights dharmic etiquette within the family: approaching one’s mother with respect (abhivāda) and seeking her awareness before acting, reflecting humility, reverence, and responsible concern for a brother.
Yudhiṣṭhira (called Pārtha) goes to Kuntī, bows to her, and asks whether Bhīma has arrived there, indicating attention to family movements and possible urgency in events.
